An eye nut is a special nut with a ring-shaped structure. Its main function is to connect ropes or hooks through the ring part, which enables lifting heavy loads or suspending components, thereby performing the dual function of connection and lifting.

Main Structure and Structural Features:

The structure of an eye nut is designed with "lifting safety" and "reliable connection" in mind, and its key components are clearly defined.

It consists of two parts: the lower part has a nut body with internal threads, which is used to connect to components with external threads (e.g., equipment bases, lifting lugs). The upper part forms a ring structure (lifting ring), which is intended for fastening lifting cables, hooks, or clamps and serves as the main load-bearing part.

Key Structural Features:

The lifting ring and the nut body are usually forged as a single integral piece, which eliminates strength issues related to welding and ensures uniform force distribution during lifting operations.

Some models feature a curved transition on the inner surface of the lifting ring to reduce rope wear during lifting and prevent damage caused by stress concentration.

High thread precision (typically class 6H) ensures a tight connection with the workpiece thread, preventing loosening during lifting.

Materials and Surface Treatment:

The selection of material directly determines the load-bearing capacity of the eye nut and its suitability for use under specific conditions, while surface treatment is aimed at ensuring corrosion resistance.
