Hot-dip galvanized special line clamps are electrical fittings mainly used for non-load-bearing connections and branchings of conductors in overhead lines. A detailed description is provided below:
Distinctive Profile: For example, the JBY-type special clamp with parallel grooves features two semicircular arc grooves on the lower part of the body, forming a semicircular "mountain-shaped" profile. The upper part of the body is semicircular with an elongated slot on the semi-cylindrical surface, allowing the clamp to rotate 30° sideways. This ensures uniform clamping pressure on the conductors within the specified diameter range.
The protruding straight "△"-shaped teeth in the two arc grooves provide multi-point contact between the clamp and the conductor. These teeth also pierce the oxide layer on the conductor surface, improving contact conditions and effectively reducing contact resistance.
